Hey guys, since I’ve spent most of my time on SoulPlay gambling, I figured I could make a guide to all of the ways to gamble!
In this thread I’ll be covering:
- Dice (Blackjack 21 and 100 / 55x2)
- Dice Duel
- Hot/Cold
- Flower Poker
- Dueling
NOTE: Any other games that are not listed here are not permitted and should be reported to a staff member.

Dice:
Firstly the ONLY way to obtain a dice bag is by accumulating 350 donor points (using IRL cash to donate, or ingame scrolls, or both) and buying it from the donor store (north wall of ::home bank).
Some dice hosts have certain minimum bets, so be aware that a host may refuse your bet. Hosts generally will take items, but at a lower value than the current market price, called "dice price".
There are two main games when dicing: Blackjack 21 and Blackjack 100.
Blackjack 21: is played with (2) 6-sided dice, meaning that these dice can roll anywhere from 1-12. The object of the game is to get a higher sum of dice rolls than the host without going over 21. If you go over 21 ("bust"), you automatically lose that bet.
Trade your bet to the host (which they will match against your bet) and let them know you’d like to play BJ21.
The host will then roll their dice for the player (as the player always goes first). You may ask the host to hit if you think you can still stay under 21 or stay if you think you can beat the host with the current accumulation of numbers you have. The person with the closest number to 21 without going over wins the pot.
Blackjack 100: is played with (1) 100 sided dice, meaning that this dice can roll anywhere from 1-100. The object of the game is to get a higher sum of dice rolls than the host without going over 100. If you go over 100 ("bust"), you automatically lose that bet.
Trade your bet to the host (which they will match against your bet) and let them know you’d like to play BJ100.
The host will then roll their dice for the player (as the player always goes first). You may ask the host to hit if you think you can still stay under 100 or stay if you think you can beat the host with the current accumulation of numbers you have. The person with the closest number to 100 without going over wins the pot.
There is also a 3rd, less popular game called:
55x2: the most basic dice game. This game is played with (1) 100-sided dice. The rules are very simple, the host rolls their dice once, if they roll over 55, the player wins the pot. If the dice roll anywhere from 1-55, the host wins.
When dicing, there are a few things that can happen:
- A tie in blackjack 21/100 - the host always wins.
- Accidental clan roll - if there is a staff member in the clan, they can confirm the roll. If there is not, the player can decide to keep or re-roll whatever the number was according to the host.
- Someone scams you - YOU MUST HAVE PROOF type ::report ingame, use the proper format found here and wait for a Mod rank or higher to reply. Do not talk about your scam in public areas such as yells or shoutbox as this is against the rules.
Dice Duel: this game is meant to be played between two (or more) hosts ONLY. You may NOT have another host roll for you (unless they are on the Trusted Host list) in the case that you don’t own dice.
The game is played with the 100-sided dice. Whichever host rolls the highest wins. The most common variation i see is best of 5 (first to 3 wins would win the pot.)
In the case of a tie - neither host wins, and you re-roll the dice.
Hot/Cold : This game can be hosted by any player with the ability to buy Mithril Seeds and pay out double the player’s bet. You would trade your bet to the host, and tell them which category or flower you think will be planted by them listed as followed:
- Hot: Red, Orange, and Yellow
- Cold: Blue, Purple, and Pastel mix
- RYB Mix: Auto host-win
- Black/White: Host re-plants a new flower
If you guessed correctly, you win double what you bet. If you didn’t guess correctly, the host keeps your bet.
Note: It is not uncommon to be scammed playing this game. Please video all aspects of gambling.
Flower Poker: This can be played by anyone with the ability to buy 5 Mithril Seeds and something to bet. Each player plants a row of 5 seeds. The player with the best row wins the pot. The hierarchy of possibilities is as follows:
- 5 Of A Kind
- 4 Of A Kind
- Full House (1 pair and 3 of a kind)
- 3 Of A Kind
- 2 Pair
- 1 Pair (two of the same color)
- Bust (all different colors)
When playing Flower Poker, it is not uncommon that you end up having to re-plant due to a tie. In which case, both players will need 5 more seeds. If a Black or White flower is planted, that one single flower gets re-planted.
Note: We don’t re-plant the whole row due to seeds being expensive and not in a store.

Dueling: Do ::duel ingame to get to the duel arena. When you get there you will see people advertising how (and how much) they want to stake. Once you find the person who you want to stake, challenge them to a duel, put up whatever you agreed to stake, set, and DOUBLE CHECK the rules. When it comes to staking there are many ways to go about it. I’m going to cover the two most popular:
Boxing: each player agrees in the duel screen to wear no armor, no weapon, no potions, no food, no movement, and to not use prayer. They can use whichever combat style they choose, whether it’s to punch, kick or block. The player who kills their opponent wins.
DDSing: wield your dds before entering the duel screen (or else it won’t let you accept). The rules should be no armor, no food, no potions, no prayer, no magic, no ranged, no movement, same weapons. Once you get in the duel, use all 4 of your special attacks, then if your opponent isn’t dead, finish them off with basic attacks. The player who kills their opponent wins.
NOTE: Changing any rule will fall under attempted scam, this can include but not limited to: Enabling food, potions, magic, ranged, prayer, etc.
Thank you all for taking the time to read this guide, I hope you guys find it useful!
Also huge shoutout to @Seedo92 and @Lush for their help, along with everyone in the videos!
