This comes up quite a bit and thought I'd make a guide for it. @Lush helped me with this originally and posts this fix the most so creds to her. If you need to do this again in the future and you don't have the compatability options available. Here's what you can do. This happens if you get a new fancy computer with a high resolution screen. 1. Find the SoulPlay.exe file you downloaded, this is inside the zipped download. 2. Right click it -> open properties. 3. Click the compatability tab. Spoiler: No compatability option available or no .exe file only .jar 1. Download launch4j 2. Open it go to "Basic" tab. In the *Jar part put in the SoulPlay.jar file for the client or whatever java application. 3. Put a name ending with ".exe" in the *Output file. e.g. SoulPlay.exe 4. Click "JRE" tab. In the Min JRE version type 1.0.0 5. Click the cog/gear symbol which is "Build Wrapper" 6. You'll get another pop-up asking to give names to xml files and stuff, just put same name as step 3 without the .exe extension. 7. Now the .exe file created should have the compatability option. 4. Tick run in compatability mode and select "windows 7" from the drop down (prevents bluriness) 5. Tick Override high DPI scaling behaviour. 6. Choose from the dropdown box, Scaling provided by: System (not application) 7. Click Apply and Ok and open the .exe file and it should work. EDIT: You can also try this guide by @Skills which is similar but using a shortcut.
